In Our hifi club in Copenhagen the resistor in the Zobel smoked. There we use Tp as well. This channel has 0,3 vdc out now.
Twisted pair has nothing to do with this, input ground wire contact lost maybe. Some highly capacitive speaker cables in combination with low Z speakers could be the cause. Also thermal shock ..

A quick question. How are the speaker peotection boards powered.
I can see in some builds the binding postst are connected directly.
In other builds there is a conmection going to +/- terminals of the speaker protection boards.
What is the right way to use them?

First One Cap Bank Positive or Negative module consisting of two four pin Mundorf MLytic 3,3 mF/100 V and two WIMA 0,22 uF/100 V, price is 68 EUR/pcs, including one DUELUND silver bypass 0,01 uF/600 V, price is 148 EUR/pcs.
First One Cap Bank modules will be available together with First One Large module, sales starting in second week of October.
First One Medium still available, a lot of interest lately, no worries all quotations will be send out very soon.

DC Sense is passive detector, no power supply required. It triggers SMPS to shutdown, power reset needed to set SMPS in normal operation mode.

OK, input GND connection lost can cause HF burst, making zobel resistors dissipate more than expected normally, ending in smoke.
Just change all with burning marks to be on a safe side.
How come you choose only one SMPS to supply four modues? Mid-high speakers only?
I wonder the Zobel resistors in my modules are 18 ohm can I use this?

Very nice boards really!!
I guess we need 4 for a stereo amp. ( 4 x 68= 272 EUR or 4 x 148= 592 EUR )
The deference is 320 EUR.
Do the DUELUNDs worth this money ?

Minimum 8 weeks delivery time from only supplier Mouser if 1 % is wished. Is it safe to play treble without filter. It works with no problems.
This is the 18 Ohm version of the resistors I bought to replace my burned zobels, available from element14 so you should be able to get them easily
