Here are some of my work
ACA, buffer 6922, A33, FH9, AX11, current amp LM1875 and psu dc ptotection.
sorry for off topic

yummy, very royal looking. nice way to designate the cap on silk screen (Darth Vader caps?🙂).

Hallo Prasi.
I never can win in rapidity- there are other better stocked parts and even quicker....ha.....ha. 🙂
Patrick should be next here hopefully, to show us his work- boards are shipped.
thx for changing hole dimension.
The R17 is only left over it's a good Takman from HifiCollective UK.
I should do it with R16 too for better balanced optical look. ;-)
Cheers Bangla.

Thimios,
Very nice work on your big monoblocks! As Prasi says, you must like the sound, huh?
Thiago,
A good comment from Thimios, if you can do so well as you start, how wonderful will you be in a few years? I LOVE the Darth Vader on the filter caps, industrial graffiti, fantastic!
Cheers,
Hugh

thanks Hugh .
Waiting for the next project 😀

Yes,i like the sound.
I want to finish this but it isn't easy.
I will try to find a suitable prntection circuit.I dont like relay in signal path.
Yes that's cute thimios. if you put some delay and muting integrated like Bonsai's NX amplifier power supply. That will be great
Thimios,

Thiagomogi,
where the electrolytic capacitor orientation is obscured by the installed capacitor you really need to add some orientation symbol outside the outline so that one can check orientation later.
Or orient ALL electrolytics in the SAME direction.

many PCB layout designers add in an orientation symbol just outside the outline of the polar capacitors. How many do that? I rarely see it.
Not saying it is not a good idea, I just don't see it very often.I might try that in the future, could maybe just thicken the line on the negative side sufficiently enough so it shows once the cap is in place. Lord knows I've popped my share of electros.
I think that too many Members offer up "congratulations" every time they see something nice.
Yes, it is nice to be recognised for doing good. I know I feel good when I get nice feedback. (eg. holding a dance partner's hand while the smile develops as she recognises that she is "dancing" ! That is extremely satisfying.)
To me it is much more important to offer up constructive criticism to help "improve".
The reader can do what they want with the information.
And yet I am repeatedly criticised for "helping" by pointing out shortcomings that can be improved.

Here I was thinking that I was the only one here with a fetish for cap orientation 😀
Andrew, constructive criticism is fine, but why not just celebrate the good work in all its forms? Some folk want the layout to be electrically perfect, others the silkscreen for ease of assembly (and troubleshooting 10 years down the track...), and then there are those who create functional works-of-art that a visual treat. I don't take this stuff too seriously because its just a hobby after all.
Why stand back and watch the kudos come in when one can see an error in the implementation?
I would like all our Members/Builders to succeed, not just the experts who already know how to do it correctly.

Why does it have to be an error? Perhaps orienting all the caps one way or moving the markers from the inside to the outside would result in a less visually appealing design, which is the designer's preference or modus operandi, second only to creating a functional board, one would hope.
Good point Andrew and Terry, its better to uniquely mark caps so that -ve is identified on the outside after assy instead of orienting in the same direction which may result in non optimal routing of traces.
Like you said a thicker line for -ve may be in order. V 4.3 watch out.

I was referring to my usual Forum practice of making suggestions to improvements and/or to removing errors in a general case. Why does it have to be an error? Perhaps orienting all the caps one way or moving the markers from the inside to the outside would result in a less visually appealing design, which is the designer's preference or modus operandi, second only to creating a functional board, one would hope.
So I will ask again, why stay silent when one can see an error that could be removed and give the Builder a better chance of succeeding, even though the aesthetic might look fanatstic?

Is that an ACA that runs at 30v?!! That's hot. Literally. 🙂
Andrew,
We've been over this before. Criticism must be moderated by praise so that everyone realises that it's an enjoyment learning experience, not a bash 'em down with every mistake and hope that the learner doesn't give up..... you really are a Mr Spock character. You are very logical, but you are not always amenable to other people's genuine efforts. We need guys like Prasi, Thiago, Alex MM, Ranchu and many others. They are designers and layout guys and all are needed to keep alive a very good forum.
The other issue is that you, personally, with trenchant criticism you lose the attention of other people whom you are actually try to influence. Most learners are vulnerable - everyone, even you, when a mistake is explained carefully - so rather than causing resentment and generate angst in the forum it is so much better to give praise and critical observation in equal measure so that you do not lose the attention of the learner.
If criticism is really bad, people give up and go looking for other forums. We have seen a lot of this, you and I, in our time. Some very clever people have left after continuous criticism. It does not help. We do not want this, and we don't want you to leave either if you never enjoy your interactions.
BTW, putting in electros with same orientation is very nice BUT it gain make the pcb a bit wieldy and with every DIYer I know is well aware of checking the polarity. Again, nice to have, but not necessary.
Cheers,
Hugh
