my 300 watt transformer, the primary winding comprises 42 turns of 0.8mm, the secondary 12 + 12 turns of 1.25mm wire, coil 12 volts -0.8mm 5 turns. can write the dimensions of your transformer, I found the data you need for winding

This will be very interesting. A well designed SMPS is what we need. Many working power amplifiers in our collection waiting for power supplies.

I am glad to help! I use these power supply units for almost 2 years, I have never been let down, reliable, power up to 1000 - 1200 watts

the transformer can be wound on the core from the computer power supply, but it should be borne in mind that such a power transformer will be approximately 300-500 watts

Hi. I've been trawling the thread for information but it's a really big thread.

Can you guys recommend which Apex amp is best for the following specs :

Single pair output stage ~ 50watts
For playing "vocals" type of music

I want to hear the "air" that I usually read about in reviews. 😀

I'm looking at either the P8 or P30 as preamp unless you can recommend a matching preamp for any amp you suggest.
