USB Audio Gremlins Exposed: Beyond 1s and 0s, by iFi Audio | AudioStream
A master class in taking a few small snippets that on their own are correct and wrapping them in believer b**lsh*t.
I do wish that someone would explain to me what bits are if they are not bits
My grandmother lived this, she fell in the street once and refused quite physically being taken away in an ambulance.
This was possibly a statement on financial fear rather than medical fear

I worked with a number of doc specialists who enjoyed the use of fancy words (I fondly refer to such individuals as viaduct guys).
When they fckd up on the workfloor, which occured on a frequent basis, their regular routine was covering up in the most sneaky fashion and at expense of patient health.
I can recommend ones who worked for docs without borders in Africa for a few before hitting specialist mark.
They'll operate with a piece of string and a clothes hanger if necessary, but don't talk ladida and come with a guarantee of your survival.
Another exception is the compulsive obsessive perfectionist, and former professional soldier. (downside of those is that they're sadists who take great pleasure in inflicting physical pain to male patients who act squeamish)

Bits may be storing your bank account balance information.
Bad bits may mean your bank account isn't accurate.
Good bits seem to guarantee your balance becomes lower.

Rule one: Avoid surgeons. They see all solutions in terms of surgery!
I've been skimming this thread -- full of good laughs!
You all probably know this one, but it's still one of my favourites....

As the Feedback column in New scientist observes, the work "quantum" is a sure indicator of fruitloopery.....

I posted everything that I knew about Graphene wire in one post.I see you have already debunked these....
And they're always little. How come there are no big bits?I do wish that someone would explain to me what bits are if they are not bits

Yup the ethernet cable can tune the tone!
The iSO-CAT6 Special Edition that newly combined with dCBL-CAT7 cable is configured with 3 kinds of network cables offering respectively different sound characteristics with high quality, which allows the user organize own unique customized audio system selecting bright & pompous tone, neutral, mild & comfortable tone.

Ahhh but there are, sort of. Put 4 bits on a heap and you have a nibble
And two of those - presto! - a bite

In this neck, the M is for Major and the SB happens when you don't get enough.
Cal, your remark still gives me a good laugh while I am writing this, but I have no clue what it means. Canadian is such a great language for expressing humor.

We have been working on the boards for this lot
https://www.zapandgocharger.com/
recently so grapheme was in my mind so to speak. The initial main use for grapheme will be supercaps/batteries it seems with cable a long way of at the moment....
zapandgo
Huh ?? Charge time is determined by the Li-ion/poly built in IC ?
They would have to also develop new battery tech to do this.
PS - It IS cool they can charge the the charger in 5 min.

Your device will still charge
in the same time that it always does, but we are also working on a solution to that.

Its a super capacitor not a battery, there are other areas where they are working on the technology, one is super cap batteries for cars... You are right about the device charging that depends on current battery technology, I believe they and others are looking at batteries for phones etc.
Well here's a catch if you do the math...
zapandgo has a capacity of 1500mAh and takes 5 minutes to charge
Current-generation li-ion batteries can have charge rates of 2C or higher over a certain SoC (state of charge) range.
2C means a 10000mAh battery will recharge itself within 30 minutes. So in 5 minutes the 10000mAh battery would have charged 1666mAh

how does that compare to a discharge cycle tho? If the 5 min charge on the zapandgo will be enough to 80% charge the 1700mAh battery in the phone vs say the partial charge on the external lithium pack?
In reality most charge their external battery packs off USB chargers which limit to 2A max, your example needs a 20A charger.

Afair, graphene caps are supposed to charge 100-1000 times faster than li-ion.
1500mAh/5min is 12C, your example times 6.
