@LC
Really amazing, I am always speechless about the quality of your work, and the level of your experience.
Now preparing amazing capacitors for the FO.

Last Night I found the Problem ,I tried a lot and found out that FO with SMPS doesn`t like a Main Filter in Front. Every other Gear I got ,has no Problem with it,tried every Combination .Is that Normal ? I mean,I`m happy that I found it,but with the Filter in Front it sounds better ,even with that Noise.
Hi taccodude,
Could you let me know what kind of filter did you use?
I configured the FO temporarily as attached photo.
Overall sounds are great.
However I can hear some high frequency noise(hum?) from both speakers.
If I disconnect input cable from J1, the hum disappears completely. The hum only occurs input cable is connected. Also it doesn't matter whether input cable is connected with any source or not.
My setup is as below:
- Power: SMPS1200A400 * 2
- AC input: 224.5V / 60Hz
- DC input: +/- 54.8V
- Calibration: VAS, DC offset, idle bias current meet the spec.

I don`t use a Filter for it. I had some Problems with Hum too,but after recabeling and some other Things it was nearly gone and now I can`t hear it ,with second SMPS. Some of the Noise I had was gone after ,moving all the Mains Wires in the Back of my Audio/TV Stuff.

Your input cable is picking up noise? Use shielded cable (twisted/unshielded cannot be too long).
Question about de sense modules
Can anyone please tell me if used with single smps for two FO, i can just parallel the connection from DC sense module to smps or it will not work? = Two DC modules to one smps... I would think it should work, but would like to make sure...

Do you hear the hum with one channel only?
Or only with both channels?

Please, can you tell me if is there a need for a minimum 63 V value ?

In reality, the FO will run at +-55.6 VDC, and selecting those capacitors due the 1200uF value and the diameter of 18mm, witch fits perfectly into my SMPS. + they are high quality ones.
Hope that helps
Hi L.C.,
I tried responding to your PM, but your inbox is full. Regarding post #2720, there is one supply for both channels. I understand about the ground loop, I'm just not sure how or what to do about it. The signal grounds are independent.

Brian , there is no center tap on the secondary of the transformer which should be connected with the ground
My mistake, the center tap of the transformer is wired to the 0V connection between the capacitors. It isn't shown in the picture, but it's there in the amp.

To Hsi68.
LC runs mains wiring underneath the SMPS L shaped heatsinks...
To MetzB1,
The TX "center tap" Is one wire or two leads that go to the caps "ground"?
I think it is better to have a picture of the whole amp.
Good luck,
M.

Will you change the caps in smps1200 to Panasonic FC ?

I believe he makes his own smps.
Yep, he posts sometimes here some details.
I have been following his link and couldn't find any details though about his SMPS offer, sadly.
Any website or shop perhaps?

Yes I do design, develop, sell SMPS.
Those capacitors are for my SMPS that I will use with the FO.
If you need transparent data on my SMPS I can send you, just PM
