Hi, All. Started the assembly..PCB population in progress...

hi Saraswat, those PCBs look neat. even i am planning to build a Hiraga 30W Class A. recently I have ordered the PCBs from Jim's audio [off ebay]. planning to do a dual mono construction.
as Sergiu suggested, i am planning to use 400VA trafos for each channel. ultimately everything will depend on the parts list and schematic that Jim's Audio is going to mail me.

All the best! :)

Hi,

Did anyone already measure how much ampers can provide this amp at highest demanding peaks ? Limited by the output transistors ?

Is it stable around minimal 1.9 ohms impedance with average 4 ohms speakers like the hungry Kef 104/2 (some even says a Bryston 4L is not enough with due to its very complicated filter full of coils, caps & resistors !)

Yes readed it all and also linked it all already before ;)

My 1.9 ohms is at 125 Hz with < 85 dB sensivity between a bass cabinet and a medium cabinet (filter ;) ) on the middle of a russian mountain impedance curve (nightmare situation for many speakers, I really read a Krell 50A or a Bryston 4L was not enough for this speaker; a reviewer says all its potential needed a Bryston 6 ! factory of ampers !).

Less easier than an ESL in the trebles !

I think that you should take into consideration a 1kw trafo also in this case...
Cheers

Dear Saraswat,

Excellent work. Looks like professional fabrication. You have used Dale resistors on the board, who is the seller of Dale resistors in India. I am at Lucknow and unable to get any quality component here. Please share the test results with us.
