It was 16F (-9C) here Monday morning. I forgot to bring the hanging ferns into the garage....they have a brownish and wilted look to them now, but they should regrow next spring.

just went there (Costco) after work yesterday, and some things just can't be unseen - thankfully there are visual antidotes of a sort available online
5 days left of salmon fishing! Then we rest from 1 Dec through to a re-start on February 1. [VERY few salmon around....was out today and yesterday for just a few hours. 8C and - at last dry for the past few days. And that chilling wind has gone away. Caught nothing!]
When I lived in London we would drive up to here - about 400 + miles each way - for just two days fishing only to find that there was a massive flood and that fishing was a no-no.....and still enjoy the trip!🙄
