🙂 Nice. Looking forward to hearing about this one.
Me too. I have been patiently waiting for this review.
Ha. Sounds like Santa Claus will be a month early this year. Great news!
Thanks for always sublime hi-fi review publications
twice pleasure this world premiere First Watt F7 in 6moons galaxy.
I stay in tune and search with telescophe for

Best regards 🙂
I am still guessing on what Papa saw he liked and decided to use with this amp. A new circuit using Schade feedback maybe. It was a new idea for SS at the BAF for sure and a way to get a sound like a SIT without a SIT.
The SIT amps have been successful on their own so I do not believe the F7 will be a SIT amp. I agree Michael, I am probably totally wrong but it is fun to guess. I do believe a Schade mosfet amplifier in the 25 watt range has potential to be very successful and popular unless Papa has had a brainstorm of something better.
The F7 is very different, more similar to F5, but with some refinements
and new ideas.
😎
Thank you Mr Pass for some crumbs at least. New Ideas, I have those every decade or so. I was hoping you would respond with a crumb.

so it's symmetrical
only symmetrical amp I designed that I liked had CFP outputs - Papa has never used CFP before....?
one of myriad possibilities .......
F5 like JFet input , cascodes modulated , Shaded Toshiba mosfet drivers (in place of regular F5 outputs) , source follower output
comparing to F5 , lower OLG , so lower NFB
edit: damn , that's pretty much like Sony Amp V2 , except Shaded Toshibas
Papalegoland
two pairs in output , opto bias .......

Symmetrical Double differential pair?
Looking forward to it.
Papa doesn't like balanced FE's anymore 🙁
Plugs in with a 3.5mm headphone input.. I jest😀

I'd buy that. Maybe with Lateral Mosfets on output. Another possibility, Papa SIT drivers instead of schaded feedback drivers.

that would be too much of good thing ......... and waste of good parts for that position
If I had those parts, I'd definitely use them in that position, but if I didn't have those parts I'd definitely do it your way.
you're forgetting that Papasits come in just one sex
I'm not saying that one sided sex isn't possible .....

No you are right. That was a major brain fart.
I don't think Papa would do quasi with SIT

Some unconfirmed rumors says to me that F7 will be simple hybrid amp ,
where A-class front end is one single super linear NOS triode driving via transformer F6 like SEPP A-class OPS consisting from one pair(or more pairs) of power SIT`s .

Yeah that was a reverse psychology attempt.
Tell papa he wouldn't do something, that you actually want him to do.
Hehehe
Edit: Aaaah bloody hell, we don't have access to those SITs, now I'm gonna cry. Thank you Nelson for BAF Mu follower, close enough to Nirvana for me.
