DBT only seems to be disregarded by audiophiles who are so convinced by their infallible hearing that they don't want to take part because they may be shown to be wrong...
I have also noticed on here and other threads that when presented with facts, measurement's or even the laws of physics, these are also wrong, incorrect, not applicable to esoteric audio design and name calling and tantrums do seem to creep in.

I wasn't. What's OK for kids is not necessarily OK for adults. The subtext was clearly... grow up!
But if you put forward arguments that the average 12 year old can drive a bus through what do you expect?
You... mean... Like Enstein or Hawking ?Only for the past forty years.
Some people here take themselves way too seriously, and it's not the peeking that bothers me, it is the poking by the high and the mighty.
Careful
OLE BENTZEN (Danish physician, d.1989)
An audiologist who specialised in developing hearing aids for underdeveloped countries, Bentzen went to see the film A Fish Called Wanda. During a scene featuring John Cleese, Bentzen began laughing so hard that his heartbeat accelerated to a rate of between 250 and 500 beats a minute and he was seized by a heart attack and died.
There ya go, taking yourself too seriously again. I wrote it just for fun!
So did I!
Careful
... of what?
Watching Fish Called Wanda, seen it twice. That makes me a survivor? 😀
You... mean... Like Enstein or Hawking ?
My German is adequate but not superb, and I am able to walk well and speak unaided, so right off the bat, no.
My professional field is polymers and analytical chemistry, not cosmology. If the latter is your interest, guys like Chris Pope will be a better resource for you. I have a decent non-specialist knowledge, but not the sort of depth that someone who really works in that field will have.
I old friend of mine is a retired earth scientist and told me that at the ANU, Australian National University, he had seen scientists go over to what he called the 'dark side, being lured by the corporate dollar. There is a lot of money to be made if you are able to 'debunk' global warming ('climate change' is merely a euphemism) and plenty of dollars from the petrochemical giants.
And no, I don't think Stuart is one of them, but that's only when I don't have any proof and I am not guided by ignorance, so hence I say nothing.
Here you go, Joe. Probably not a good idea to discuss this here but you should find it interesting.

Most published scientific articles are Drivel.
Scientists have to publish, but prefer to spend their time on one thing, so the rest turns Dribble.
Scientific articles are mostly read by those who themselves produce Drizzle.
The ones who have a problem with that, are either individuals who never had to read scientific publications, or the scientists who didn't Cash-In before Boot-Out.
Move on !

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.
It is good to have no certainties.I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.
That's the formula for Scarlett Johanssen. I approve.

well, OK only two of those are thumbs
A bunch of empty boxes, duh. 😀
FEI makes really really *really* nice microscopy and metrology equipment. Remember seeing a demo of their TEM where they showed an image of a ring of oxygen atoms in some bizarre frozen out structure. Atoms.
QED indeed. 🙂

They do indeed. I mostly use Shimadzu and Bruker these days, but had a chance to play with an AFM that an old friend of mine in San Diego built for his lab- really cool technology.
