Thanks Scott. I’ll study it.
Now I am tabulating some data from a motional electromagnetic generator to shed some light on an older question of yours (just wait 1-2 more days).
Meanwhile…

George

The demos are still held behind a few curtains, the transmutation of nickle to copper or radiation would be easy to measure but no peaking allowed.

Therefore, the results have no actual meaning and are only illustrative.

What else is new.

Freeman Dyson says (paraphrasing) that science is presented to the general public as a contest of winners and losers. I'm of a mind to believe that an equivalent contest exists within the scientific community itself. This doesn't encompass denunciation of science or all scientists, but does provide useful insight to certain characteristics of contemporary research IMO.

That just reads like the human condition. Black, white, win, lose. We need some sort of binary contrast....

(Nor am I disagreeing with you... being in the trenches, so to speak).

But as a retort to all the "please be more open minded" folk: "In God we trust; everyone else bring data."

:D

If you want to get beyond comic-book understanding of evolution, Ernst Mayr is where you want to go.

You know that comment makes you nothing less than a condescending twit and whose snobbishness knows no bounds. But it is typical of your campaign to impugn my reputation and must surely be against the rules or the rules have become a joke because of you. BTW, even as a child I never read comic books and held no interest in them - music did. And yes, I do read... duh...

Agreed, but I don't think that that explains it entirely.

I was fairly certain you would relate.;)

Theory can be easy. Corroboration usually means getting your hands dirty.

Did-you mean, you're one of them ?

I old friend of mine is a retired earth scientist and told me that at the ANU, Australian National University, he had seen scientists go over to what he called the 'dark side, being lured by the corporate dollar. There is a lot of money to be made if you are able to 'debunk' global warming ('climate change' is merely a euphemism) and plenty of dollars from the petrochemical giants.

And no, I don't think Stuart is one of them, but that's only when I don't have any proof and I am not guided by ignorance, so hence I say nothing.
