Honey Badger with friends. Lcduino with d1 attenuator and d2 selector and Muffsy pp3 phono stage with external psu.
Does that "sexy" Badger stay cool with a 2U extrusion ? Math says you
have @ .5C/W .... should be 20C above ambient.
My bigger one (5 pair) is 3 U @ <.4C/W , does 20C.
Great badger print on that amp - very distinctive.

It's a 3u chassis. It stays pretty cool. I run the bias at 50mv between tp1 and tp2. Here's a photo from some stress testing today playing around 110db for one hour it runs around 25 C above ambient. It usually stays around 45 C with room temp round 23-25c.
I have temperature switches on the heat sinks that shut off the amplifier if the temp exceeds 75c, they haven't tripped so far.
Glad to hear that you like the Badger print. I'm considering to add a power indicator led where the eyes should be.

So you case is just a bit wider than mine - why I confused your 3U's.
You are at >110ma per device x 6 , I do 70ma X 10. Same wattage +3U ,
same basic thermal behavior ( I get to 55C with heavy use).
PS-I doubt either you or I could get >70C without a "party" environment at
over 40C ambient.

My Amp - I just fitted the front panel this weekend after it arrived from a company in Germany that cuts and engraves this stuff.
Hi Bonsai
What is the name of this german company and could you tell me about the price ?
in MP if you want
Thank you very much
Hi all just completed a kit put together by Sonny, his TSSA V1.8. Great quality components and sounds fantastic.
I built the box my self (yes I know it shows) out of copper I had lying around. Added some LED's set in epoxy resin and a magic eye VU with a gate to close if too bright.

It Front Panel Express.
It was about 100 Euros IIRC. But the shipping to Japan where I was living at the time was about the same.
Just google it.
