My ex-wife is a sociopath.
She has zero conscience, zero empathy for others, can lie without blinking an eye.
Add years of professional training at an acting college, and she's able to deceive anyone, has done so till this very day.
But she never plans ahead, thinks things through, always acts on the spur of the moment, shifts her opinion by 180 degrees within 24 hours.

Which begs the question, why the f#%£ did you marry her dude?

Gordon.

You'r kidding me 😉 All the countries have famous and national receipes !

I believe it's impossible to find a good mapple syrup in France (or if anyone has an adress ?) ! Your receipe should be very good with a fresh fromage of the south of France : La Brousse, which is a very delicate cheese (is it not strange for France in relation to the camembert ! : [Corse] Omelette à la brousse [brocciu ou bruccio] et au basilic | Les Papilles Estomaquées...Les Papilles Estomaquées…
Note you can eat it with olice oil too : here we are more in the way japoneese likes food : infinite subtle variations !

In "the old world", all the countries have famous national foods. In "the new world", not so much. The USA has hot dogs and hamburgers. We have them here, too, but we don't celebrate them with nearly as much gusto.

I agree 100% about onsen and beer after! I love to listen to Japanese people speaking, especially the women. Men and women speak almost a different language there. My wife is from a very small town in the middle of Kyushu. Onsen and shochu and rice fields and mountains. Paradise.

Yep, we had an other friend (western guy) who learn japanese on the bed with a girl.... all the native japanese are kidding (discretly laughing in fact) when he talks japonese !

I loved this island and the internal sea ! many monks trip around this island (they makes the turn of the island with famous stops : shinto if I'm not mistaking ! I tryed the bath of the emperor (at least it was before) in a town of the west island iirc !

Frankly a beer after an Onsen is a reset for the mind ! I love too the apparent peace of the people and how they are polite... many countries lost this !

When you understood ho to buy a metro ticket with the machines they have it is a very peacefull and nice country to visit !

It's more regional here, since Texas to New York is a bigger shift, physically and culturally, than England and Italy. So really, there's no "national" food, but characteristic regional ones- deep dish is in Chicago, cioppino is in San Francisco, crab cakes and steamed soft-shell are in Baltimore, crawfish etouffee and file gumbo is in New Orleans, Hot Brown is in Louisville, and barbeque is in Texas.

I don't have to say to you here the every day food becomes crap ! especially true in town like Paris ! Less true in some aeras elswhere in France but in the big towns !

But we have yet a good basic quality of goods and there is a revival of cooking in France we lost after the 50s/60s... These days, male like female compete around the coves and there are a lot of TV entertainment around slow food revival !

Wemen gave up to cook because of their job (and the american way of life which was good for her (less time behing the cooker)) and traditions collapsed ! The week end, young people are more trying to cook !

Do you think that meat you hunt and butcher yourself tastes better?

Also you seem to be a really cool guy for someone who's into hunting. In the UK most hunters are Upper class ***** who got buggered stupid in our great British fee paying school system!

In the last sentence the word buggered is meant both figuratively and litteraly.

I was disturbed that finding a good omelette in France is much more difficult that it used to be. They're almost always overcooked and indifferently folded.

There is a reason : eggs are not good ! Children I was feeded by the eggs of my grand father who has his own chicken he fed ! Omlett and simple eggs with lard was fabelous ! the earth was red : chicken only eated the human rest of what grows in his garden 🙂 !

At least there is another reason :restaurents don't take the time anymore to make good omelett (or only in the true restaurants) : in the bars or brasserie : you can forgett it ! It's true !

There are so many way to make a good omelet if you have good eggs ! I like mine nature but if you mix rapidly before with some good milk the eggs, you will have an omlett à la Mère Poulard (don't remember the right ortograph !) : very thick and airy in the same time...

All the problem with cooking is the quality of the food ! If you eggs are not good or your meat is full of hormons and water (idem for the fisch !)... it's quite hard to make good cooking !

But the better is in fact with black truffle... but a waste if eggs are bad : it is a sport to find good eggs in the big town and subburbs here !

I saw more and more americans (for the ones whom can affoard it) try to source good foods in the farms and good marketts ! Many makes their cheese after making studies in France and have very good results... at least this is my understanding ! )

Yeah, we have a chicken in our back garden in the suburbs and most supermarket eggs can't compare to a freshly laid egg for breakfast. I also find the shells are very thin on supermarket eggs.

We grind our shells up and bake them before mixing them back with the organic feed so the birds have enough calcium, which is not only important for their eggs but for their moults. The more calcium they have, the quicker it happens and the sooner they start laying again.

Bipolar or borderline personality disorder. I can see how the first could be fun but definitely not the latter!

Ive seen estimates that as high ~1/20 of the population can be afflicted with BPD. I reckon in the "entertainment" industry probably at least 50%
The 1st clue the BPDs will say is they are victims. yet on closer examination of the real facts ( rarely will that come from them, use references from outside their loop of madness ) is they are ones that leave a vast wake of victims behind them!

Deep dish...

I agree with Jon Stewart on this one.

By the way, if you like pizza, you would love the one I make with grouse, roasted red peppers, brie and balsamic-carmelized onions.
I don't think SY will be eating anything that used to walk the earth.
As a matter of fact, yes.
Except that my home is not in the US.

I think you'll find the elasticity of the eggs is improved by using water not milk.

Cheers.

Sorry i should have looked at your article first. As an ex psychiatric nurse I worked with a lot of BPD women, they were by far the most infuriating people to deal with, so f***ing manipulative. Being married to one must have been hell on earth.

I had a previous girlfriend who was never diagnosed with but I'm now sure that she had some sort of personality disorder. She was one of those airy-fairy new age types and superficially appeared to be so very kind and friendly. Underneath all this though was a seething couldron of bitterness and hatred. She had a remarkable ability to always turn you into the bad guy in any dispute or disagreement. The sex was great though and sometimes that alone is what snares you, thankfully there were no children.
