By using the rare SITs, the article(s) will be educational for something else down the line, like the Nemisis and Pass-1 SIT, semisouth, etc. That's my guess. 😉

Zen long ago I had a class AB amp that took about 2 hours to really warm up and sound good. But I could throw a blanket over it for about 1/2 hour instead !
The circuito es fácil, so inefficient Mr Sound. Avoid to use it on Europe, we are conservationist.

This longer loop wire are nice if after 20 years someone
must change old capacitor ,
easy solution to manipulate pcb if need.
Less work with desolder.
