Hi Chan, I'm definitely on for Perth in September for a listen! I've never had any issue with my dual PSUs. They have powered up silently every time over months of use. A friend uses the same PSU set up also without issue. Both of us are using single boarders.

Did put 4 chokes for sale on the swap meet here for the people who think the lundahls are to expensive.
I am willing to add some metal work for the people who are afraid that they will not succeed in mounting them properly. I can make an aluminium panel that can hold one or more chokes, a big bleeder , some caps up to you.

I´m afraid these times will never return. Just like our youth. Gone forever.
By the way my DDDAC is still completely stock...and I´ve not changed a thing..apart from going from cap coupled to transformer coupled. My adventure has yet to start..If it ever will. Too many other things with my system I have to do first.
You can count on our beloved Doede to come with another one-of-a-kind design that will keep us busy 😉

While waiting for the bbb-cronos-hermes from TP, I have now put the rpi2 with runeaudio on the dac. It works perfectly now! The word is that running mpd in a separate core (rpi2 is four core instead of the rp,i and much faster) better sounding. I will do some comparisons the coming period.
Also the boot time and library update are much faster now.
Check this thread for installing the 1794 drivers on runeaudio: the new 4 core raspberri pi 2

Dual raw unregulated ps for DDDAC.
I have now able to replicate dual powersupplies for my DAC.
This is the preliminary trial. In future, I will split the analog line into two seperate lines after the first choke input first bank of caps with each side separate second choke and cap. Will post photos later.
@Stefan - have you being playing around with Cubbietruck and Banana Pro?
Both can i2s direct too. I have RuneAudio for Cubbietruck that i2s to DDDAC, and other Hiberry DAC...! 😉 Can share the link for those interested.

I did not experiment with cubietruck or banana pro. I read that you had good results with banana pro and jriver. Do you think it is worth wile to invest in banana pro/jriver instead of bbb/botic or rpi/S04?

I like the Jriver and JRemote interface. Til date, I am not aware of a better interface. May be someone can shed the light? In addition, I have not been able to hear better SQ than BBB/Botic with my S03. I have tried almost every software/hardware there are but concluded that BBB/Botic is the way going forward. Therefore I went on and ordered two sets of Herman/Cronus from TP. One with complete clocks setup and the other without Clocks for I to add the Pulsar XO ($750 each) later when Doede DSD is available, if it's ever coming out! 🙂
Interm of SQ from Banana Pi/Pro via USB, these little PC kicks @ss any full size PC with mod/teaks done. However, we haven't heard the best of it just yet, as it is best when outputting via i2s. We've conducted numerous shoot-out here in Perth, the only time this Banana Pi came second was with a $10k Antipodes server, both were via USB. If Banana Pi was outputting i2s to DAC, the result could have been amusing!
Did you know the RPi-1 sounded better than RPi-2? I think when you allocate each core for MPD and General for the two core and shutdown the rest, RPi-2 starts coming close to RPi-1 in term of SQ. personally, I would avoid the RPi altogether due to USB sharing. There fore the Banana Pi is coming in handy with SATA for storage, Ethernet and USB. All seperated and none-sharing!
I will take photos and post on this thread on how I ultilise the banana Pro as wifi server(connect mobile device direct to BPi without the need of external AP) with Jriver/JRemote Ethernet to BBB/Botic to S03 to DDDAC. 😉

I have wired up the dual unregulated ps to DAC. Thank God for no smokes coming out! The benefit was instance, bigger sound stage and every espects of the sound audibly resolutes to another level. Amazing!!! Clearly power is making up of 50% of the SQ. Will conduct another iteration with separate second choke on each analog line. For now, exceeding my anticipation! Wonderful!

It was not I didn't have the faith in you! It is too much of a risk for my build. The personal efforts and the time it took to assemble are simply money can't buy should a rare event happened. 🙂
Currently also working on the housing. Will be two boxes, one for ps and the other for DAC with BBB and TP Reclocking!
