Wow Juan,
I think this is the first layout I've seen where all the small transistors face the same direction. Cool!

I'm trying too keep half top and bottom to be the same seems this is double layer I can place them facing forward 🙂 well I'm not in the hurry to finish it up too fast I'm taking my time and enjoying some music while working with the layout so far so good 🙂

Old schematic with some new layout design.
Great thanx to Mr. Mile

Hi
Good day boys
Thank you
Can you share pcb and every thing about this?
Give us some information about protection unit please
Thanks
Sometimes you want small transistors face to face. So they can be thermally coupled together.
Maybe should ask Apex, if any of the transistors should be thermally bonded.
Try to make output traces straighter, shorter equals less trace impedance

I was thinking about that a few days ago on the A33 I do not know what transistors goes together face to face 😕 I'm mean if some one have time I will appreciate is the ones that need to be together face to face be highlighted 🙂 I still got time I'm not in a hurry 😛

Thank you sir I really did not know which ones are the ones that goes thermally facing each other 🙂

hi everybody
Which is the best sound quality ax11 , ax14 , ???
it is a difficult question sir, I have AX-11 and AX-14 both sound really good I think AX-11 has a bit more detail in reproduction of sound 🙂
I continue with the layout and now the ones that need to be facing each other are now ready, I will continue re-cheking all over again 🙂

Thanks vargasmongo 🙂
Hello mister Mile sorry to ask too much, I have a silly question, so far I have 4 pairs and I was thinking to add an extra pair to turn it into 5 pairs will that make any difference ?, or is not really need it ?
Regards
Juan
4 or 5 pairs no changes... do you realy need it for 100W amp?

I will leave it like that mister Mile with 4 pairs, sorry I was just curious,
it does respond really well on simulation I have test it with 1KHz to 20KHz THD is good low and I'm satisfied with the results 🙂 " I mean my diy studies "
I can say that is about completed as you indicate the transistors that need to be facing each other are now done and I did just some minor adjustments on the traces and I'm really happy on how it looks now

Nice work,

I have found a small error on the layout and now is fix, until I don't see any more errors I can not say is completed yet mister Mile I will continue checking it was one of the 470pF caps on the audio input area now is in the correct place, tomorrow I will continue 🙂

Hi Juan, an absolutely impressive layout. According latest Miles advices on transistor facing i modify the layout. See picture under
yes sir you got it 🙂 , maybe your part number are different from your software layout so don't fallow my simulation PDF so you don't get confuse, use original schematic 😉 and you be good to go
what I did is to simulate the circuit then I use the same part numbers from the simulation and use them as guide on the layout
Q3,Q4 are thermal twins
Q6,Q13 are thermal twins
Q14,Q11 are thermal twins
Q23,Q24 are thermal twins
when I mean twins is that they share the same temperature core for been together,
I was thinking to couple them with a little thermal paste then surround them with a small piece of shrinking tubing there is more theories about this but let go simple for now 😀
yours look amazing sir

yes you did it nice 🙂 now those 8 important TO-92 are placed correctly nice Idefixes

here is what mister Miles post a few days ago 🙂
really important sir, keep looking and fallow the layout and circuit as many time as you can so you be sure all is correct before your order a few, just today I saw a minor error on my layout and it does happen sometimes we don see it right away 🙂

Juan
