Took me half an hour to adjust one module to 0.1mV DC offset, not bad but with higher turn poti, it would be faster. Anyways I've checked TR1 and TR2 are 5K and I have to flip the PCB to see the other one, unless LC is able to let me know 😀

Hi Do
Been busy lately.
Here's my recommendation for 11 turns SMD trimmers to fit PCB.
TR1, TR2:
3224W-1-502E Bourns | Mouser
TR3:
3224W-1-102E Bourns | Mouser

Hi Lazy Cat, your message ( http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/vend...lateral-mosfet-amplifier-110.html#post3479519 ) on finalizing SMPS400A180.
Do I need to carry out similar work with SMPS1200A180?

No, SMPS1200A180 is ready to go, just plug&play. 🙂

Why not.
LC, What isolator should be used?
a ( Ceramic Insulator Plates 10 Pieces for to 3P to 247 Good Heat Conductiviy | eBay ) would be appropriate to apply?

Keep in mind that ceramic insulator are pretty thick so the 4 other smaller transistors in TO126 package need to receive same thickness adjustment (could be an alu profile).
Hi all,
i have lot of copper computer processor radiator. Do you think it's ok for transistor cooling ?

Computer CPU radiator - FO has no CPU very controlled intelligent power management to throttle down and degrade the performance printed on the box you did pay for. Okay it's good at reproducing square waves 0|1 just need operating system certification 🙂.
CPU radiator like this , 1kg copper...
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Very good, perform a test by applying 50 W constant power to one heatsink and measure temp after 20 min, then I can explain further steps.
Beware. Those CPU coolers are not supposed to work without fans or forced ventilation.
The spacing between the fins are too close and does not allow natural convection cooling.

On another way, Computer coolers often use Heat pipes. I wonder if those don't provide some kind of temperature regulation around the point where the coolant begin to boil...
You can actually use it along one of Noctua's fans SSO2 (self-stabilising oil-pressure bearing), deadly silent in low speed and has 6 years warranty. I used it in some builds, you don't hear that thing in low speed.
Noctua.at - sound-optimised premium components "Designed in Austria"!
I don't usually use fans but when needed, this is the one!
