The universe will be a better place if Germany wins on Sunday, and the cancer that plagues planet Earth (the Garden of Eden) dies shortly thereafter.

Wait,......, musicians can stay,......., so can music lovers,........, maybe the artsi-fartsi's as well,.......,

Wait,......, the audio technicians need to put the music to disc, or didgits,.....

Ahhhhh heck,......., let the rest stay, they might mature at some point

This might be off topic because it's nothing to do with football, real or otherwise 😛 but I found these free physics lectures by Leonard Susskind quite interesting. It's the closest I'll ever get to a Stanford education

The theoretical minimum

Not to rain on your parade, but I don't like Leonard Susskind's idea, strongly supported now by a Third Worlder physicist conjecture (Juan Maldacena)

I pinch myself every so often, and it seems that I'm real, not part of a hologram. 😀

Sorry off topic. 😀

I never read anything else more than just few words from him (from that link earlier supplied by that friendly fellowship of the ring.
Is he really that bad? ...The author (terrorrist, ops sorry; theorist) Leonard Suksskind.

Should I explore him further. Was he married? ...With a woman? And what was he thinking exactly (what it is that he was all about)?

It is too sophisticated a sport for Europeans to understand. And too difficult for them to master. I can think of great players from Japan, China, Korea, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, and Canada. None from Holland.

In this particular game, the opposing pitchers were Gonzalez (Mexico) and Kuroda (Japan). Clearly provincial. 😀

The World Series is not a misnomer for the world's largest (in paid spectator numbers) sport!

Not pay him enough...you need to get more spectators to pay to watch the competition leading up to the championship match than any other table game played in the world. (See post #628 this thread)

Sorry, no, please do the math again
