Try .02 ohms and see the change that is a high value for film polyprop caps.thank you Triodethom
never heard of a 1626The standard Darling tubes, I suppose: a pair of 1626's and a 12SL7GT.
I have a PCB I laid out for the Darling and built the chassis to drop it in.
It is very clean. Probably because the heater voltage is DC.
Hi, I am a newbie. Can someone recommend an amp package kit to start with? This way I don’t have to first look for a schematic, then transforms, tubes…Since I am a beginner I am open to suggestions. If I am in the wrong thread please show me the way. I’ve looked through other threads, most places I have no idea what other are talking about. Thanks. Looking forward to learning something new here.

If you do a search on "Darling tube amp" you'll find plenty on the 1626. Some might argue the 1626 is the Darling.
It is a beautiful "bottle-style" triode made for, I believe, a radio for a WWII-era bomber plane. The government unloaded a ton of the NOS tubes when solid-state swept in.
They show up on eBay fairly regularly — if you buy them in bulk (a dozen or so at a time) you can get them for between $5 and $10 each.
I'm hoping to put together a few Darling kits based on my PCB, FWIW.
Darling I built:
Oh Darling ...your Bikini is wonderful !!!
PSU for EL300PP
What is the power output of this amp? Looks nice and simple.
Well done!
The question under the scheme: not too high raised one of the heats?
27k resistor is missing

Hi Phil,
Thank you,
this amp is Single Ended, I made this power by looking at the pages of Jim De kort. "VT52".
Driver VT25 (replace 71A) and final RS241.
Tube Rectifier : RGN 4004.
