I really enjoyed reading that article 🙂 It's not trivial to put something like that together. Thanks for being so generous Papa.
Thanks again<3 mr Pass
Personaly is like Christmass gift to me with a delay 🙂
Very appreciated and breath taking article , made with care this is a example of strong giant level work especialy in busy period of time.
Great !
What i have learn quickly:
1* Only two pairs of 2SJ28 / 2SK82 SIT's give two mono chanels
2* NOT MATCHED pairs is ok for this amp !
3* Input XLR and RCA can be adjusted with very simple buffer if need
4* Sony CSX2 amplifier have simpler power supply
5* probably diyAudio store sell PSU pcb's for diyers ( must be verified once )
6* This is not big bucks build is rather economic
7* This is sound unique SIT push-pull class A amplifier
8* Match very well with big magnets alnico speakers drivers
Many good news and sir Nelson Pass you are the Champion!

I Got in this pages enough information for a couple of weeks. Following the news about Vfet, from the DIYaudio wind, I acquired two couples of 2sk82/J28. I wait for the news that come from the cyberspace: The temptation is high and hard to control the human/animal impulses.
Best Regards to the group and in advance: Many thanks for the incredible knowledge you are spreading among the mortals from the world.

Would it work like this ?

If you had very quiet rails it would. The output would be inverted, which
is not a problem, and I think you would want to raise the resistor values
to something more like 10 Kohm.
😎
You are completely amazing! Just the list of what you have accomplished in several months is staggering!
Thank you. But, it just doesn't cut it. We need your face on Mount Rushmore!
:cool
Great article, Nelson. I keep finding something more with each read-through. 🙂
Ordering my transformers now.
Ordering my transformers now.
That's a pretty serious power supply. Time for me to order some parts.
I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to have separate heatsinks for the regulators.

I just spoke to Jensen. They're out of stock, but it sounds like they're going to do a production run very shortly.
I warned them about you guys. 🙂

I guess something like the Lundahl LL 1527 could be used. But maybe overly expensive on your shores.
