my dvd denon 2900 mod dazzz style :)

sorry, rereading I see all your descriptions through the posts of how the sound changed. My only concern is on the old threads everyone seems to have trouble with popping noises after removing the output transistors - have you noticed this?

The 2 denons 2900-3910 sounds great

I've moved to another project
on My ARCAM FMJ 32 amp
There is no shortage of problems for me 🙁

Trust me on DAC
It is much easier to work

Mundorf MCap SUPREME 0,1 uF 1400V

and

Mundorf MCap SUPREME 0,33 uF 1400V

for my 2 denon project

I finished building the power supply of DVD DENON 2900
I replaced the two safety capacitor
0.1UF
0.22UF

to
Capacitors of MUNDORF SUPRIM 0.33UF
All resistors in the CF
Replaced with METAL FILM resistors 😉

This is the final finished project on DVD DENON 2900
After yesterday I finished the power supply

Today also I changed the audio circuit to the internal wiring
Auric Hook-Up wire 18AWG, stranded copper (made in USA) - Red

(Yellow wiring point to point Made from NEOTECH 3001 cable)

One of the best improvements I made to the power supply of my
denon dvd 2900

The regulators
7805
7809
7905

Switching Regulators LDO
LM2900T
LM2940T

To Everything work properly I had to make changes to components such as input and output capacitors

LM2900 regulator negative voltage 5 V
in the output of the regulator
i left the 100UF RUBYCON ZLH
in the LM2900M
There is only a requirement that the ESR does not exceed 10 ohm

At the input to the LM2900
I changed the SMD capacitor
0.1UF

to Electrolytic capacitor RUBYCON of ZLH 22UF 50V

Polarity
( - ) Input regulator

( + )
Ground

LM2940T regulator
9 +
5 +
in the 9 +
I replaced the capacitor RUBYCON ZLH 1000UF
its ESR too low.
Is replaced by a capacitor of 100V 100UF RUBYCON ZLH
ESR fits that criteria
ESR = 110Mohm

in the SMD output
0.1UF
Replaced to get film of EVOX
470NF
5 + voltage do the same

The previous Hdiodotbfam bridge I put diodes T0220
FRED

Now been replaced by the more advanced generation
HEXFRED

A huge difference in sound much cleaner and detailed
And timing improved a lot
Really great regulators i recommended

na zdjeciu jest tylko 4 opa 1662 z bypassami /vishay 1830 / .denon ma 10 takich opa ,...

I replaced all of the OP AMP
LM4562 in the I / V
OPA1662 in the high frequencies filter
AD826 in the BUFFER

you not see the all the filter capacitors
Because
That I did not photograph it
before I put All of them in the ciruit 😉

I made a lot of changes in the DENON 2900
thet i not shoot 😉

dazzz, why would you use a high ESR caps?..and i would prefer to not to remove the SMD on the power supply. 🙂
Because of LDO Voltage Regulators
Need a stable ESR at high frequencies to avoid oscillations
all ldo regulator has a limit
Minimal and maximal
Of ESR
Tntlium capacitor has stable ESR and because it
thay used in LDO voltage regulators
