Mainly watching this thread , then downloading 😀 .

Wise axe! 😀
* Would it help if I was giving a mini review (very very very short one) accompanying the movies (Blu-rays) I watched?
What particular value are you looking for:
- Movie itself (emotional and 'shock' content : brain),
- Picture quality (hi-def video @ 1080p : eyes),
- Sound quality (hi-res audio @ DTS-HD MA 5.1/7.1 Lossless : ears)?

* Mini review: Definitely not up to the same caliber as the first original one. 🙁

I'd never seen this before -- on Turner Classic Wednesday night "Broadway Melody of 1940" -- Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell. Fred got upstaged by Powell's tap-dancing. It's probably a free rental. Music by Cole Porter.

Just any preview quality. Many new movies would not be worth 20-$40 for
the hard copy.
If I really like a film , I will even download a whole 40gig .ISO of the bluray.
My DivX/ogg or mp3 compression codecs can "squish" a bluray to 4-8GB /1.5G for a DVD.
I like sci-fi , some suspense , random genre's can catch my attention.
I liked elysium ... 🙂 - real good 1.8G DVD + AAC 5.1 top quality.
Everything comes from the PC here ... (below).
I see your cover ... search IMDB ... off to TPB... 😀
Thankx - Happy holidays ...

'Elysium' - The true story of our planet...
- Film content (brain value): 2 (out of 5)
- Picture quality (1080p from the Blu-ray): 3.25 (out of 5)
- Sound quality (DTS-HD MA 7.1-channel): 2.5 (out of 5)
- Cinematography (including CGI and camera work and focus): 1.75 (out of 5)
- Overall: Leave your brain outside the door, and follow it too (go play outside) for a better real life. ...Or watch 'Lawrence of Arabia' instead.
P.S. I gave you my own mini review because you just mentioned that title above.
Happy Holidays!

I agree , the action was good .. but the plot was shallow.
The plot would of been better if they elaborated on how things
got to that point (starting with now.... 2014 - on).
I do play outside , that's where I found/repaired that big TV.
I just watched " tim.minchin.ready.for.this.2010.bdrip.xvid-haggis"
Video was good , but the sound had "doppler effect" (an idiot ripped it)
Real funny comic/concert pianist-singer from Australia - watch it.

"Johnny Carson" on the local PBS station, WNYC. If you weren't around to see Carson in his great career on NBC, you lost.
"Fathers Little Dividend" w Spencer Tracy, Joan Bennett, Elizabeth Taylor...wonderful movie. I only watch Amelie about every 2 or 3 weeks or so...
