Do you have a fuse inline with the power wire?? Next to the Battery

Here is a thought: Do you have, or can you borrow, a power supply that outputs about 13.7 volts? That way you could test if it's the higher voltage, or something with your car's electrical system.
Should i measure right on alternator or i can find another spot to measure? Just it will be not so easy to measure it in my car.

But why should i take another 13.7V if i got 13.7 stable over power cables on my amp. Well i could try my dads car, but then i need to buy power cable and another fuse...
U mean jsut put voltmeter over + and - on battery? If this what u mean ive done it 🙂 13,7 V.
what kind of car is this installed in and is the head unit wired in correctly?

Hey, car is audi avant a6 96', i havent done anything with my speakers yet, they are original and wired to HU kenwood 357sd. All wires are absolutely correctly connected to HU. Speakers get signal from HU while amp which i connected right to extra RCA outs on HU. I use 4ch amp to power sub because im waiting for mono amp which have to come in a week. Before it came i want to know that sub and amp function properly. Because in my plans to use this one 4ch for 4 speakers in the future.

hmm... my eyes? hehe I had original HU before i installed this one. Installed this one properly, there is nothing difficult. wires from speakers, power wire, ignition wire and antenna, im pretty sure i did it correct. i have used wiring diagram.
If you have 13.7VAC ..no wonder why this doesn't work 🙂 measure again, now meter in VAC or V~ position. Did you try to jump that remote? That glass -fuse could be the most propable cause for your problems..a little shaking when engine runs can make those glass fuses to work not properly. You can also try to eliminate that..assemble a jump wire over that fuse and give it a try (caution, remove jump wire after testing)
well the amp's output with no load connected should have higher impedance than 4 ohms.

If it's a glass fuse try bypassing the fuse and see it the amp still cuts out with the motor running
What do u mean with remote? Remote wire that goes from HU to amp which makes amp function? Hmm. So what i understood i should put a power wire from battery to amp without any fuse? Isnt it dangerous to test without this fuse? i will do it tomorrow, because its dark now. Measure with V AC??? Why AC and not DC? But if its somethign wrong with that fuse so why i measure 13,7 stable on amp?

Well i know this amp supports 4 ohms and sub is 4 ohm + guy who used those thigns had no problem, he had this sub i have + 2 speakrs connected to this amp. everything was fine.
Its too dark to take pictures now i will do them tomorrow. Power wire is 5 M, fuse 25cm from battery; Ground is 1m into body, i have taken painting away to a metal before i put ground bolt.
