You are very resourceful and that is pretty nice looking workmanship. I couldn't even imagine making those speakers in my garage (because of no imagination for making use of a small space and because my wife would kill me).
Very nice.
Very nice.
I'm speechless.
Hi Professor, I'm curious, what are these two elements, up to the right on fourth picture, (P3C8 ? , pale green, lots of pins) something to do with the nixie dsplay - input selector? My pp 6N13S finished today. More photos 6N13S - mymegahobby Jimdo-Page!

mother of God! those horns look really ..... horny !😱 😀
Thanks! Amazing, and very inspirational work, albeit such a high standard, is very hard to reach.. Tech expertise aside, the high quality serigraphies and the all-in-the-top-plate solution left me stunned, a plenty of good taste, and design wiseHi! Hi Professor,
please tell me what kind of transformers you use and where do you got it.
I´m plannig to build a stabilized powersupply with russian parts only. I have a 6s33s, a 6sh1p and a bunch of caps and resistors all from russia.
Thanks a lot,
Hilmar

P.S. Be careful with old capacitors, especially electrolytic.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Oleg,
you made me happy. Thats the trafos for i was looking for. Great, great , great.
For the electrolytics you are absolutly right - i will use only pios or MPs.
Thanks for helping me!

Attached is my latest amplifier - Pentode output with adjustable fixed bias. Screen is regulated via VR tubes. 5687 driver. James Output transformers and Edcor power iron.
With the fixed bias, multiple output tubes can be used - KT88, 6550, EL34, KT66, 6L6GC, etc. Also included an optional plate cap in case I ever get a pair of TT21s or 12E1s.

EL34/6CA7 ultra linear single ended amp
This is a study build, I hope to move it all into a more finished case with wood and brass eventually....
This amp was designed by Professor Iwamura of Kanagawa University and featured in a design contest in MJ magazine 2012 Jan. edition.
