Antoinel already has me anticipated. Even while watching the 3-part wonder in action yesterday (yes, 3 parts!) I was plotting and scheming about a sleazy fake version, and remarked as such to 6L6, as he was standing next to me at the time. I have two greasy, sleeeeeezy flavors in mind - one with transformer (expensive - those Jensen transformers don't come cheap, even on Flea-bay) and cheap (more parts, pernicious feedback, but no need for tweaking to balance DC).

The crossover and phase and such are pretty much the same, as well as
being pretty much the same for just the woofer in a flat baffle type.

I'm all for seeing if the basic topology will work with a more standard transformer (I.E., common and cheap) and Mosfets. I think it can.

Regardless, the trick in this amp will be the PSU. 🙂

I think quite a few people will want the buffer input and some biasing circuitry so a pcb would be nice to contain those parts
