What about that missing IC on the socket? Only offset affected?

IC is for DC servo only,
He added fb cap and is running without offset control, but with low dc offset.

What about the bass then?
the servo will make the lower freq response better
or you find out something 😕 with & without servo?

Bass is strong and deep.
A friend who heard amplifier said ""like a subwoofer but without subwoofer.""
With or without servo?

i believe first test must be without servo to see the truth about offset.
Then........difficult question!
I can't decide!

MJW21195/21196 will be ok, I use it in SR800 without DC servo for PA, but for hi-fi I suggest to keep DC servo.

HD series have FETs at the input and no dc servo, just pot for adjust offset but it's DC amplifiers (DC-300kHz, THD 0,002%, 200V/us...)

Why we're cascoded Vas current mirror?
Can i change them by a Wilson improved current mirror?

SR200's Vas look like Lab Gruppen's Vas.

Could TL071 be used instead of LF411 in SR-50? Are they equivalent?
