@DF96 : Yes, the pre-amp input V are in DC

@nigelwright7557, I am guessing better with Valve rectification? What do you think?

To be honest I am just looking design that cheapest and very good PS (lol...)

Help me please.... I am learning a lot from this site

How do you know your preamp needs 400V DC and needs 100mA current?

This is what i got from the user manual
Sorry but which user manual?
On your OP you refer to
help me design pre-amp tube
How can you have a user manual for something that's not yet designed?
How many and which tubes does your preamp use? (6 Pcs. this is clone of JP200)
"6 pcs" ..... of *what*?
Don't know what a JP200 is, that's why I asked a schematic of what you are building.
Sorry, no Preamp schematic to be found there.

I have this pre-amp as DIY kid from analog metric

My first experience building the kit

it was horrible the original kit that they have (a lot of hum)

so I decided to follow this guy Norbert R

Tube DIY Asylum

I change all the resistor, capacitor and sound become so amazing .... way better than original one

but I still have the problem with the Power supply. In Norbert R, he has PS200 ( http://analogmetric.com/download/Variable Tube Voltage Regulator PS200 User Manual.pdf ) and I have regular one ( HV400 Variable High Voltage Regulator Kit (100-300V 0.1A & 0-30V 5A)_Power Supply Kit_Analog Metric - DIY Audio Kit )

Well at that time I did not know much about which PS I should use and they send me the kit

here is the link for user manual

Tube DIY Asylum

I hope this will clear up
