Hi to all,
I am new to the DIY site. I hope i can give you guys some useful info from what i know of this great audio hobby😀.
I'm musician and DIY audio technician since my teens (and that was in the 60ies).
Right now i'm busy trying to figure out what unit i am working on. As far as I can find on the web it is a unit from a Telefunken T9 master recorder.
I found it sitting on the attic, waiting for me to restore it..
I remember that the guy that gave it to me many years ago said it had to do with an old Philips EL3500 master recorder that i bought from him. It came together with a headblock and a loose erase head. It might be an erase / bias amp but I am not shure..😕
Look at a webpage i made that has some images and comments:
telefunken_t9
While you're at it, also look at some links to other tube and audio projects:
EL3500
40watt-stereo-amp
If anyone has a schematic for me I would be very happy.
I took a go at it to draw one myself but the original stuff is always better to have.

Hello,
this looks like a head amp V67u (version with one EF804S and two EF12). The UY11 in the sockets are wrong.
Regards Andreas
wrong tubes
OK Andreas,
Thank you for the answer. I had my doubts about the UY11's too.
It was written with pen on the chassis next to the sockets. Obviously very wrong! 🙁
I will buy the EF12 tubes and put them in. I hope i can get hold of them via my tube provider.
Do you know where to get the original schematics?
Regards..

Great..!! Now i can try to restore the unit. The guy who gave it to me years ago, must have taken all the transformers, relais and choke off the chassis for a DIY project of his own in the past, so now i must try to find the missing parts.. If anyone has them for me?
Anyway thank you very much for the schematics🙂
many regards,
