I'm observing that XS amps are nothing else than hoax ; I can't see xformers anywhere .
maybe not hoax , if they're directly mains operated

Jacco, aal the wires in your pic does make one rub his head. Second level below is also intriguing, but seems too complicated. Would make me think test amp with multiple amps on board or some sort of bridged circlotron thingamawobby. I always thought gain clone supersynmetry thread and Jumas opa1632/549 amp was interesting, if broken down into simpler discrete parts. So many amps, so many possibilities. What was that relaxing movie you suggested earlier?
@ZM never considered no transformer. I got to get on that.

Also note the six tallest blue rectangular
BC components MKP416 (similar tall ones are Siemens B32529, now Epcos)
make one rub his head.
Xs is all about clean supply.
The case with the UGS6 board has no transformer, the other one does.
Power connection between the two is with 32 Amp twist-lock powercons (3-pole)
What does that tell you ?

Figured about transformer being seperate. I like neutrik connectors but have used speakOnn 4 pole.
Not the question I asked you.
He is either bringing AC into the main case(unlikely I think) or its floating, is my best guess.
irrelevant ;
even dumb ( you can stretch trice that , but never will reach Mighty ZM's Dumbness)
......... considering that some caps are in lower case
are we wasting time on trivial dilemmas ?

Pffff.
3-pole powercon for the amplifying top case means DC.
aka the 40 power devices in the bottom case are not part of the output stage.
Don't have to be, why the bath-duck would anyone need more than 72 power MOSFETs in an 150W output stage for.
=> Power rail regulation. (Xs = X-Supply)

And read two post down, 6162.
For the aluminum plates and wires, think Walmart/cash registers/volume flows
(lots to learn from peeping at knickers)

Dunno, not smart enough to even know. Just traveling.
I thought earth had to be carried to every case.Pffff.

nothing wrong with speakon range , with more contacts , especially when you have :
- exact pair of holes for da cable ,
-no slightest possibility that common Buying Snob can use Speakons for his spk palamars,
-need for just 4 hefty wires going up
and down

Andrew T, railed me when I suggested just 3 wire into main case. Mind showing wiring config of what you are saying is +,- , and E
Are you sure thats not the 8 pole Speakon?
