Please note, my favorite little program, WinISD, is only good at guessing LF response in various boxes. It can't help at all with the high end roll-off and breakup issues. It can't help tell you about OB problems as that is a design of the baffle issue. IB can be simulated by a monstrously large sealed box. You have to MEASURE yourself the rest.

Sim of JBL2226G an the beyma 15lx60v2. both in same volume and br-tuning, as you see they are almost identical. Only the linear extrusion of the beyma is much bigger then the older jbl. And again the beyma wins in the subbas area.
The rolloffin winisd is the result of the voice coil induction. It can be flat response in practice above the rolloff what you see in the simulation.

This is all about trade offs.
The 15" pro mid-ranges trade low base extension and upper frequency cone breakup for efficiency and low distortion. Is it a good trade? I don't know. It depends on the skill of the designer and the style of the music, I suspect.
The Beyma looks like a great woofer.

That is precise where it comes to. I have simulated a hole lot the last 10 years.
When you want more efficiency you get less subbas and the same the other way around.
I like beyma because they spec the second and third harmonic so one can get a idea of what you get.

That's why I liked the look of the 15P80Fe.
THD in the low bass seems quite a bit lower than the 15LX60V2 although roles are reversed between 80 and 180Hz or so. They cost £155 and £130 (LX60) without VAT here respectively.
