I have not seen anybody to specify what a Hi-End pre-amplifier is.
I see that such amplifier should have the following characteristics:
- flat and wide frequency response
- high output level
- low distortion
- low output impedance
- low gain, when used as a line stage or with input levels above, say 0.3 Vrms
- non-inverting
Below is one with 6n23p (=ECC88, etc.) that fulfils the above requirements.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
You have quite a lot of capacitors in there... 7 in the signal path (including the 2 psu caps). No likey.
Then again, with all that feedback it shouldn't matter.
Without R15 the amplifier does not work at all.
Without R1 it does not fulfil the requirements I listed.
No, no, this must be *really* hi-end. It says so right on the schematic.

I made this tube/valve preamplifier with 12AX7 and to tell you great playing. Giving it the right sound full of warmth, very good, not to say an excellent stereo image, midlle and high i very defined with a lot of heat.

Tube preamp should give tube sound? Law of tube preamp to make sound/distortion like a violin found in bottom of a lake somewhere high up in the Alps? That law is exactly what gives tubed electronics a bad rap. I prefer my tube preamps and amplifiers to make no sound except what's fed into it. I'm not going to post Hi-end circuit for you...you wouldn't appreciate it anyway without all that tube sound.

I think it's time you stopped posting designs that are not yours to post, especially since you do not give credit to the original designer or publisher. It is very obvious to me where that one came from.
