you can use it, but i think for better result you should use mur1620 because its reserve recovery time less than mur1660.

because 1660ct is cheap than 1620ct, 40rs- 1660ct, 1620ct- 120rs.
1/3 cheaper.

Yes, but you can use many other TO220 dual diode also.

with this supply(120-52-0-52-120DC) both rail stepping properly according to signal(gain), but found clipping when voltages start stepping to higher rail.voltages swings between 50 to 80v both rail.
