Why ?
Well, I don't have the Burson schematic, but looking at the audio-gd "Earth" one, I can see room for improvement. For example, they could use the LSK389 instead of the discrete K170's for the input differential pair. There's also no current mirror to be found.
The Sonic Imagery Labs op amp uses monolithic NPN and PNP matched pairs for the input differential amplifier. That's just one example. However, of course, this op amp requires it's own special socket. It's not a DIP replacement like the others.
Ok but selected 170 is better than the 389 and the 389 is out off production. If anybody is interested I have more than 20 of the 389 GR.

Oh, you can call them up. They should be open right now. I'd be surprised if they use anything less than 1% metal films. I was looking for a photo of the guts somewhere but I can't find it. I'm familiar with the monolithic transistors they are probably using, from Analog Devices:

It seems they used to make them for Burson and now sell them on their own. However there are differences between what Burson sells now and what AG is selling. There are some significant parts differences, even size changes and performance differences.

It would be difficult because they are use different sockets.
I think products like the Burson are just for those who want a discrete op amp in their existing commercial gear that uses DIP chip op amps. I would not use one for a new design.

What is your favorite resistor then? I doubt I could hear the difference myself.
Unfortunately, I lack the skills to make such a PCB myself, and I have very little design experience also.

Well I choose the resistors by listening to the product to modify. What kind of coloration do I want.
I think the most neutral is Takman Carbon type.
Off course you could hear the differencses on a Setup wich was good enough !

They would have to be MANUFACTURED in EU in order to avoid customs import taxes. A dealer would have to pay those taxes too and add them to the final price...Ask them directly. They will give you a dealer in Europe.

Why do you need to know? Surely you can tell just by listening with your experienced golden ears? 😀
