AAAArrrrrrgh!

Down south in down under, the free to air stations show from the US: NBA, Baseball (yawn) and bloody hours and hours of bloody NASCAR....

but no ICE HOCKEY!!!
Dammit, I don't wanna see re-runs of a boring bloody baseball game. I wanna see the Stanley bloody Cup!
Yes, I know I could get it on cable, but I don't have it NOW.

Curse the retarded Aussie TV networks!

Oh, and we have friends visiting from Victoria, so GO CANUCKS!
(they will be back in town just in time to celebrate the cup 🙂 )

What a Saturday night that was🙂

Mark, I didn't bother getting cable when I moved here and have watched all the games online at cbc, here's a link: Sports - CBC.ca

Lol Cal, that's usually the time I prefer to go to bed between 9-10pm or so, then I hit snooze and listen to cbc for an hour or so as I drift off to Zzzzz... Some of these games have gone well into the wee hours, which has left me with just a few hours sleep till the alarm goes off for work.. But not complaining it's been so worth it!!!

Game day!! Van at Boston game 3.. I work from 12pm to 9pm tonight and won't get home till just before 10pm, so will miss most of the first period arrg! Save me a seat please all🙂 GO CANUCKS!😎

I did some looking round and the cbc.com seems to be the best bet. I'll give it a go tomorrow.
I think I'll have better luck than going to a sports bar and fighting with the guys who want to watch AFL re-runs 🙄

The Rome hit was a result of too much testosterone. Glad to see they made it through without a powerplay goal. I can't complain about the game misconduct, if I was the ref I'd done the same.

First report from the hospital is that Horton has mobility in all limbs. Thank goodness. My thoughts are...well you know.

Second period could be the Bruins. If they are going to win a game, this looks to be it. The Canucks are a third period team so let's see what happens. See you in an hour.

Thoughts again to Horton and everyone in his life.

Tried a couple of other options, had a token go at a proxy, but no luck I'm afraid.
Never mind, I'm keeping up with the main highlights on the web...
Might have to brave the sports-bars after all.

Man I hope it doesn't go to seven Dave but you're probably spot on for sure..

My glass half full thinking for today is, 'Oh well we can hoist the cup on home turf instead😀' It kinda would have sucked winning both games in Boston and hoisting the cup there anyways, sort of😉

Yes Baseball, the weather is ripe for it on this side of the coast, no ice anywhere😎

Sure hope this last game doesn't mess with Lu's head too much?? That was a beating at the net, course I would have let in 100+ goals in a game like that, so guess I can't complain🙂

Didn't see that hit before, yikes! Not sure it was a vindictive thing but rather an in the moment stupid decision to hit him that high? Anyhow it is hockey but that was a hammering hit for sure..

Game 4 at Boston today😎

BTW I don't want to come off as cocky just want my team to win, but there's no way it will happen if they don't pick up their game, Boston is hungry too so it's anyone's game really. Before I thought the Canucks had this no problem, not so sure anymore..

Hope tonight's game get's er done!
