carlos if you say it good then its good your the man who has build 1000 of units in your life. me i built one simple gainclone and then now dx blame es amp complete just need biasing and need multimeter. for me the biasing bit is always the hardest to understand maybe you can do video on it and post on youtube on how to perform bias on blam ess step by step for dummies🙂.

will do that for the Dx Corporation builders..no one is dummie, because these guys cannot build...they only talk about to build.... or make plans,or simulate, or imagine one day to build, or calculate, or read books....the ones really able to build, these are not dummies for sure.

By the way, Blame is playing lovely FLAC encoded recordings....just lovely!.. do not even need big speakers..you can use any..small, good speaker, bad speaker...no problems!..sound is always good...even with PC speakers...when an amplifier is good, it plays good sound with ANY speaker.

Cranking the volume high may melt the voice coil ,the wire ,creating a short
so you may throw your amp in the dustbin. that's DUMB . I've done it 😀

I dunno about the speakers in my lap-top, man. They have a frequency response about 250-8kHz and bad vibrations. Even AM radio sounds like super Hi-fi compared to this! Ohhhh....so bad!
Don't worry though, when I get a super download of DX music I can always plug in the bigger PC speakers and get a bit of bass in there. Not too bad actually..thanks for your contribution to our entertainment, uncle Carlos.

In a matter of seconds you will be listening bass, even the bass that does not exist.
This was studied a long time ago..Psychology of perception....you have the Klipsch museum, the man that takes care and presents the museum explains that when presenting you an old speaker...this knowledge is very old.
We do not listen with ears only..alike a microphone..we have "processing", we have adjustment, we equalize, we filter...brain removes noises.
Wanna an example?
Imagine you receive a Cell phone call from someone you love deeply... a long distance call from that big passion you had or still have inside your heart..and you are in the middle of a noisy street in New York....hard to listen the cell phone?... just for a few moments...in matter of seconds your brain will remove noises and you will be listening her.... this depends of your will, how strong are your emotions...do not test this when receiving a call from your boss..that bugger!

A good amplifier you perceive it as better, while comparing, in the first 2 seconds...if you delay.then the brain processing will enter and all amplifier will be perfect..the trick is to switch from one to other, and very fast, not giving time to the brain...A...and them B...and space in between....brain processing is removed this way..... the good amplifier, the best one, you notice immediatelly.....listening for long time..even an awfull amplifier will sound reasonable or good.
Are you listening some bass from your laptop?..... there's no bass there....you brain is producing the sensation..so.. a small bass (alike you remembering the way it should be IF HAD BASS)

Well, in your above post, I understand that principle. I agree that you can fill in the missing sound extremes when you listen to a voice in particular. Other sounds are not always that important as the communication of speech, song, voice I think. I usually do not notice that the background sound disappears from movie soundtrack when actors speak, for example. Another trick for the brain.
But....! If my favorite songs are playing on little speakers sounding like the girl sings with a voice like a kazoo and the guy sings like a mouth full of rocks.....well, I'm sure not messing with that anymore. If there is something around that I think will make it sound like it should, then I'm gonna go for it.
Just like a DX Blame ES, eh? OK, so I have to use some lesser amp. for now but things are taking shape. I finally have a camera and am slowly learning how to use it. I am modifying PCB holes to suit available parts and fitting one board up now. It's just the start really but no difficult problems until testing time. Then hot fingers on the dummy load...yowwww!
Hey, guess what came up very cheap on Ebay here. A Grundig Variac! Like a Mercedes Benz with good V,I AC meters and sooo smooooth, all in a nice case (If you like variacs, that is). I could not resist because of the quality, not because I really need it.

reason why i suggest folks to build....it sounds perfect in the first, second and the millionth second.... choice a speaker..can be even a cheap one...this cheap one will sound better with the Dx Blame then with others..the amplifier is tollerant to exotic speakers.

It gonna be tested, if approved will be offered, for free, in the supply section.
It will be studied searching for RFI, or oscilator frequency interference...magnetic field saturating diode junction, regulation and current surge before protection enter.
In my imagination, not sure of course, will be junk!...will not be approved..but i have to be sure..so..will make it and will check it.

Take off from Congonhas Airport...small airport mainly used to brazil fligths...yep..town is highly poluted alike Los Angeles...it is an industrial town, thousand of industries, tenths of automobile factories.
5 minutes flght means almost 75 kilometers... the airport is in the town center....so..imagine the town size!

I am thinking about it, I am planning to run it in the car. I think this is worth trying in the car, the Dx Blame will just out perform any commercial car amplifier.

What's wrong with having it at home, and in the car? I expect it will be astonishing to try my PCBs in the car too, not just that, the Dx Blame is excellent. Concerning cheap, it is not that they don't sound clean, it is just I am willing to try it there.

application, as automobile is noisy and the acoustics is not very fine...well...there are controversies about.
Egg shape, alike beetle Volkswagen sounds fine..and the space we have behind the back seat is excelent to install speakers.

You would never leave my car (contest-winner) even not to listen to the DX Blame (allthough my car produces a very narrowed stage indeed).
