hi to all!!! at first when i build the amp ,the IR2110 was FAKE! i bought 2 off them both FAKE! after i bought the third IR2110 the amp came to life.....the sound is just amazing...very clear ...i use IRFP260 they are cold ....the output coil is hot..i use a toroid from an old pc power supply ....but even with that the amp works very well and sunds great...(sorry for my english)

hi dear
what voltage rails are you using
thanking you🙂
He uses +/- 28Vdc for the moment for tests.
After all is tweaked and the SMPS is ready we will connect it at +/- 95Vdc.

do you have any idea how to add effectice short circuit and overcurrent protection..?
I think this is important thing
hi all
I made this Amplifier
Sound is good
Mosfet is not hot,but the output coil is hot
My supply rail is +-68V
do you have a good idea for this problem?
sorry for my english🙁

Hi Razamir,
Use T 106-2 micormetals iron powder core for the output inductor.

Just to give you some ideas... Using a 555 monostable, some transistors (or perhaps, a plan comparator, you can easily use the shutdown input of the IR211x to implement an overcurrent/short circuit protection protection 😉

Yes, I have made my own pcb. It works well. Amazing . I have not try to increase power rail yet. I will do it soon. But I have the same problem like many guy, coil is hot.Even through I try to use good coil from broken Behringer amp. Waiting for some suggestion.
Hello opor,
Appreciate if you could print the PCB layers into PDF or graphic file format.
Many thanks.
