ML3 is general purpose preamp, can be used for mic, guitar, keyboard... or channel preamp for diy mixer.

35hz lots of bass

Most of bass is from 50Hz to 150Hz, and PA subs work under 50Hz. In some amps low cut is at 50Hz. With low cut at 35Hz you can't hear any lost in low pass.
