I don't believe cables make a difference, any input?

Hmm the tone seems a bit harsh... I don't now if any of you guys have build and used John L. Hood Distortion Meter. He uses a Wien-bridge sine-wave oscillator as input, it has less than 0.0001% THD. And the "Distortion Analyser" is build with parallel T-notch filter, with settings at; 10Hz, 300Hz, 1kHz, 3kHz and 10kHz. And If you use these two together, you'll get great and accurate results. He describes it in detail, in - "The Art of Linear Electronics". One of my "bibles", he walk you through 60 years of "Linear Electronics". I have his articles from Wireless World as well, and "Valve & Transistor Audio Amplifiers". He also talks about cables and their impact on the sound, I highly recommend these two books. If your more drawn towards Class - B, D, T... amplifier you'd probably don't find them useful... I'm a true believer in K.I.S. - keep it simple - and I almost always build(for people with high demand on the sound, that the amp it self don't colour it ...) for "Hi-Fi" purpose class - A amp's. And I belong to those who truly believes that valve(tubes) sound more natural than BJT, and even FETs, though they(FET's) can produce a very warm and detailed sound(if you have good speakers, with "domestic" speakers you can build amp's with OP-Amp's, like LM3886, which sounds really great for a power op-amp audio amplifier...). I forgot what I were saying... if you're more keen on B, D, T... amp's, especially class - B, you wanna check out G. Randy Slone, he doesn't explain his audio amp's, test equipment, etc., with formulas and show you basic layouts on which he build his "whatever" on. But he describes the various "project", what part is the voltage amp, input, negative feed back loop... but it's a great book to get ideas from, "the Audiophile's Project Source Book". He has written a bunch of other books as well, where he walk you through the various equations, and why he think, or rather holds as true, that B amp's don't impair the sound one bit, even though it goes through a phase shift of 540°... while Hood and I is bound to another "religion" 😀 Search the net for articles written by the late mr. Hood, and G. R. Slone...

I dont hope anyone will claim a DBT to be a scientific proof of anything
Scientificly it will only be an indication of which direction to look for evidence

Science is studying the unknown
There exists lots of things that scientist clearly know are working, but still not proven how
Even if a scientist cant prove how it works, he may still know the fact that it works

Why would it be inaccurate? I'm keen to hear your reasons, that is if you have them.😀 Oh, and next time will you be taking PayPal?

The existence of the "difference" had not been demonstrated. Assuming that it has, merely because of the existence of the claim, will certainly lead you to disclose bank account information to that nice Nigerian fellow who sends you Emails.

That will be $20. PayPal is perfectly acceptable.

The existence of the "difference" had not been demonstrated.

And how would something that somebody heard be demonstrable? Do you have any suggestions? If I see some fruit and describe it as an orange, how would I be able to demonstrate that I saw an orange?

Assuming that it has, merely because of the existence of the claim, will certainly lead you to disclose bank account information to that nice Nigerian fellow who sends you Emails.

Back to your more usual gibberish here. Can't follow.

And if an experiment with rats would show different behaviour, different brain activity, hart rythm, stress, etc........would that be scientific proof
I believe it would only show there might be a difference, but still needing proof and evidence

A DBT test only shows that listening is highly subjective, and that human objectivity always will be questionable
DBT tests can never do anything else but show that simple listening remains unreliable
And that listening will never be proof of anything, either way

Thats why we usually dont trust other people in terms of sound evaluation
We know not to judge something until we have heard it ourselves, right

Evidence is a produce of vision, imagination and research
Terrific. Where is it? The "evidence" for wire "sound" 30 yrs and 14,000 posts later?
(Hint: "I heard it/I said so" is evidence of imagination, apparitions, etc., not soundwave related change).

For the record, I use Bybee devices on my speakers.
Duly noted for the record.
I have them on the outside, rather than inside the cabinet.
To purify the aerospace in the room hopefully?

In a strange coincidence, I also place my shakti magnets on the outside - of my car's fuel lines. My car wouldn't run when I tried them on the inside.
