In case something is rotten, it has to be in Svenskeland, as that's where I've heard them.
They did take a 3rd. place in a loudspeaker design competition though, just not my cup of tea, and even the Mrs. did not like them. It takes quite something before she will announce something like that, when not asked.
Magura 🙂

seems that Metaldanske finished his amps , just in time for Danske BAF

be warned : 350++ posts of insane off topic , all relating to making pair of most insane monoblock amps I ever saw .
I'm sorta proud to be a part of this act of passion .
Magura,
Your Kung-Fu is very strong...

No, no, no! No Kung-Fu, no BO.
It's green karma guys.....super green
But let's see how green my karma is later tonight. Gotta move the amps from the workbench to the floor......

It will certainly increase your "Carbon Footprint".....😉
Beautiful work 😎 and the devil is in the detail, of course another devil is cross at the low and comfortable temperature! ...if only that devil would test the detail he would indeed be surprised!!😀😀

Especially if it lands on your foot! 😀

I would expect that, Brian refers to the material used for quite a big part of the box.
Both top, bottom, and the heat spreader is made of carbon.
But the actual "carbon footprint" will sure increase, as they draw some 220W continuously 😀

220W per mono-block, correct?
Watch your toes!

naah - these are sissy amps ;
220W for stereo

That's not bad at all--a couple of 100 watts light bulbs--easy on the utility bill.
My amp will burn 100 watts with a yield of 10 (clean) watts. It'll go higher, but with distortion.
Good job, Magura!

.....
But who cares, there is a DIY driver in the works, that should solve it 😀
Magura 🙂
just to bug ya .......

Re-minding ZM
Sorry, I need to bring up this old thread before losing it (Intend to build one of the amp and is opening from "off-site" computer). I read from the 100 newest posts window (Home), that's why 😛
Hmmm, I've come into ownership of some 625 VA dual primary torroids. I might have to do a bit of reading about how much inductance the choke load needs to have 🙂 I've the lu parts on hand too, and a pair of 4ru cases... This feels like divine co incidence... 🙂
Actually, I've quite a few of them, I could parallel them for more inductance? Hmmmm

parallel ?

Thank you Zen Mod. Less indeed.

Do you by chance have any suggestions on minimum inductance for the choke load? I saw the ever amazing Donut thread stated the bloody enormous air coil came in at 90mH, NP discusses various VA's of transformer's he used (300VA and 1.5kVA), and I recall seeing a pair of 1kVA transformers that you had hold of in some thread somewhere. The transformers I have come in at 0.3H or so per primary, so I'm trying to work out if they are suitable.
Now i'd better go back to reading my old textbooks so I don't make that sort of mistake again 🙂
do not worry , brainfart is my permanent state 😉
regarding calc ..... what you need is something having same ( inductive) impedance as load (speaker , usually ) at no more than few Hz
so , just find formula for inductive impedance , toss 8R in it and keep fingers busy
