If you leave away the term with the airgap data you can use the second formula to calculate the saturation current.

I'm not familiar with calculations, I will try to use 2xRM14 seried,10uH each,with 1mm airgap.

So final inductance will be 20uH realised by 2x10uH.
Can you approximate at how many amperes will saturate the 20uH coil?

And if I raise to 2mm airgap too?

Also for 20uH realised on G1W 88S540 R50 core?

The core parameters on penultim page of thread, mine post #169.

L (inductance) is resulted from AL (from core parameters) x Turns x Turns, and is measured in nH?

So the formula is simplified:

Incuctance (L) is 2x number of turns x AL?

Where x= multiply, or "Inmultire" in Romanian language.

And AL is taken from material properties?

'turns*turns' in other words: 'square of turns', 'turns^2' or 'turns on second power'.

Why messing so much with strange manufacturers and materials and ridiculously high prices when you can get cheap T130-2 or T200-2 online (like 4 T130-2 for $5, 50 T130-2 for $50, 3 T200-2 for $12, 15 T200-2 for $55, plus shipping from US). I used to get T184-2 from that store too (which I'm not going to name but is linked in some of my posts), but they seem no longer available.

I saw one type having just one from the two E's shorter in center(forming airgap) and some with both centers shorted, forming airgap.

So airgap must been between 1 and 2 mm?

Wich is maximum airgap alowable, in mm?

Also , I have some R63 cores(63mm external diameter) ,K2004 and K2006 material from Kaschke manufacturer.

I can raise the airgap to aprox 4 mm, but I'm not sure wich is the best airgap dimension...

They are exactly I hope, also me too I have used for Car SMPS, around 1,5-2 Kw/core at 30-35 Khz.

I repeat, the core is R63 K2004 material from Kaschke, the parameters of core are in first printscreen above, taken from the next PDF.

In a bigger core the air gap can be higher too, and it's neccessary for this high power. Many small gaps are better then one big.

Where did you buy this core, for what price?

How "Many small gaps" on a toroid core?

I don't understand, can you make a small drawing?

How can I calculate the aprox 1,5 cm^3?

I have from a friend, I paid around 5 euros/one.
