Very reasonable prices, seemingly well-engineered, therefore they have to be terrible.![]()
It's those "reasonable prices" on top of free shipping worldwide that has me raising my eyebrows just a bit.

Looks very familiar 😀
Well, yeah. But then there's only so many ways you can skin the stepped attenuator cat so there are bound to be similarities.
What exactly is that you show in the photo?

The stepped attenuator I made a few years ago.
40 steps, solid silver contacts, ceramic bearings.
Magura 🙂
I currently have an order with them and while communication has been very good up to this point they are running a bit behind schedule. It's typical "we just launched the site/product" type of stuff I'm sure. I'll try to remember to post some images and impressions when they arrive.

If you tickle the back of your head, I'm sure you can recall the project.
As I recall, you did give a few pointers back then, no?

When I saw the photo, there did seem something familiar about it. But I'm afraid that in my advancing years, no amount of tickling was able to bring up any specifics. 😀

Hopefully they will get volume up enough to justify investment casting to reduce cost and only finish machine the parts.
Sweet looking attenuators.
Sweet looking attenuators.
Just received an EMail reply from Arek Kallas of Khozmo. He says they are made in Poland.
That was good to hear, though it doesn't say much for Lech Walesa's legacy. 😀

That would be cool, thanks! 🙂

They temporarily took down the online ordering while they reorganize production for faster assembling.
Prices were $79 for a single unit, $99 for a stereo unit, and $149 for a quad unit.
