    Interesting damping inside - what is it?

    Hi Pano

    The main sheet damping material is a product called 'self-adhesive roofing flash-band' sold by 'Evo-Stick' in the UK.
    It is basicaly plastic covered bitumen sheet material.

    The other material visible in the photos is 'Silicone Bathroom Sealant' from a standard gun tube.
    It's great glue for foam etc. and has an exellent damping effect.

    Further damping is being added at present in the form of Neoprene & Silicone foam strip & sheet material.

    The bitumen sheet & silicone caulking also adds considerable mass to the cabinets, which I think is good.
