What will look impressive is a tower of amps

The biggest cost are the heatsinks the aluminium is quite cheap.
I use 10mm for the front and 3mm everywhere else.

Thanh what are you using for the top of the enclosure? Is it going to be recessed or sitting on top of the heatsinks and front panel?

I will be using 90 degree angle bracket so that the aluminium top plate will sit flush with the heatsinks (ie recessed).

Yes, I use raised power supplies (32V) and increased bias (2,8A) for ~50W

Heatsinks are ~23C above ambient. Note: Also the front and back panel are dissipating as well as the 2 panels that hold the amp modules.

I made the whole thing in such way that I could add another 2 heatsinks in the middle.

I use a 100x50mm Alu tube that is cut in half. This fits neatly between the side panel and the heatsink. A friend of mine created nice slots in the top and bottom to keep the inside of the box cool as well.

I will replace this one by an Aleph-J-X i'm currently building. Recently discovered the advantage of going balanced and now I will replace my Aleph 30 as well.

Looking good thanh. Are you getting the aluminium cut on a guillotine and finishing the edges your self or laser cut?

3mm plate is cut on guillotine.
10mm was cut by saw. Any rough edges I sand back if required.

Originally I wanted perfection, but I realised 90% perfection is much quicker. To get the extra 10% it takes a lot of work, which means a lot of time.
I'd rather spend that time building and listening to more amps, hence the reason for building 7 cases (42 is too many). With 7 cases I can compare several designs at any one time, and in the process hopefully learn something.

The only thing I changed are the resistors replaced with coils between the capacitors in the power supply.
