The two kit option sounds very interesting. Can I upgrade my order to two of the V3s (I am assuming that the two kits corresponds to two V3s)? Fun!!!

Hi, Buzzforb

Does the price of this V3 premium kit GB include all the Mur3020W diodes and matched output MOSFETs? I noticed that in the last GB, there was a separate sign up sheet for these two items.

Thank you in advance for answering my question.

Regards,

Lo_Tse

The PSU cost list is basically ready, but i need to run a couple of options by everyone for approval. I had planned on using Fkushima resistors in the PSU, but i realized very quickly that we would be in a bit of trouble for available PSU boards. THe store boards would allow it, but they only allow 4 large caps and we will need 8. Right now, the best PSU boards available for the the F5T are TeaBag's. The major difference is the need for large power resistors vs mulitple small ones. I can get large Mills 12W .1R reistors and and come out only $1 more expensive than the Fukushima option. Seems like a reasonable comprimise. Let me know if this is acceptable. AS for know, It looks like the caps will be 63V 18,000uF Panasonic T-HA @ $8.75/piece. While slightly less total mF than the article, we get higher V rating, lower ESR, higher current rating. If this looks good, let me know and I will pull everything together for final total.

Edit:
We can use only a single Mills resistor per rail and save half the cost. It will mean slightly large Vdrop and that should be considered in the final build. Choice is yours. I dont care. Heat is not a problem in either case. Paralleling two just brings total resistance down to .05R and as a result you lose less voltage at higher currents. In truth this should only affect folks with tough loads.

Edit,Edit:
Boards are only $22. Excellent price for the quality.
