finally got mine cased up and in my system instead of parts on a table with 25 yr old radioshack rca extensions cords running across the room . hehe pics tomorrow
when i close my eyes i can feel Nora Jones breath in my ear as she sings sweet nothings to me 🙂

Hi, I am in the process of purchasing parts for the board. I am trying to locate a source for the Nichicon 4700uf 50V capacitors (KG series). Mouser is out of them, but partsconnexion has the 63V version. Does anyone no if the 63V version will fit on the board? Thanks

But if you can't find Nichicon, try Panasonic, or Cornell Dubilier, or Elna. 50VW is a lot cheaper than 63VW; you are looking for 30mm diameter, no larger!

Try Nichicon UKW leaded cap from Mouser - search for 647-UKW1h472mrd. These are about $5, 10mm lead spacing, and 20mm*40mm is size. They have plenty in stock.

that's correct sasha and they should be 1/2 watt . i've got 2 amps running using those values .

I have recently changed my templates to 12.7mm to accord with imperial 0.5" standards widely used in the US; but I have to say 11mm does look better when you properly dress the leads, more compact.
I have now received the pcbs, hope this week to commence despatch.
