Warning about chokes by Toroidy

I just bought a bunch of 100 and 300mA chokes. Should arrive today.
Will confirm if the "problem" is solved of if they will return to Poland asap

good to read that! I do indeed feel sort of obliged to retest these chokes - and I would love to as well! - but time became very scarce after the twins were born.

Its worth the order in my opinion. From what I have heard their other products are respectable.

Hope you can keep us informed. Despite being in Switzerland, I like to see *some* kind of EU advantage or benefit, however so small..

Toroidy's webmaster is fast!

Information on the website is already updated:

"Measured under standard 5VAC procedure.

Inductance will drops during DC current flow."

They also offered me to refund both chokes and I dont even have to send them back!

i use LCR meters, and whatever readings i get, i take that the actual inductance under dc conditions can be lower than 1/2 of the meter reading....

there is a table done by the guys at ARRL circa 1936. lots of actual data for chokes....

Toroidy chokes

I've just received two Toroidy chokes, TDS5/300.
Nothing wrong with them. Here are the results (measurement error +/-5%):
