About SC-cut, MOQ reached for 22/24/45/49 MHz (10 pcs), not yet reached for 11.2896 MHz (15 pcs).
If someone was interested, please add yourself to the list.
Since Laptech lead time is usually long, I would finalize the order within the end of the month.

Is there any interest in 10MHz crystals? I'd like to build a low phase noise time reference option board for my HP 33120A... The stock option 001 is super stable (spec says, I think 4ppm/yr drift) but its phase noise is less impressive. I'd love a replacement that might not have the same ultimate stability but better phase noise behavior at 10Hz. (I know, getting out of the audio field here... but it's for audio design/testing, hence my interest in low phase noise.)

Sorry, i haven't been reading through the whole thread... but if i want to jump on this for 45/49 clocks, i would need 1x Daughter board, and 2x XO-pcbs... what about crystals, which one is to go for, and what are the differences in specs and price?

/Lazy typer2 :)

Yes, you need 1 x TWTMC-D&D daughter board and 2 x TWCMC-C XO. Eventually 2 x TWTMC-DIL adapter board, if you are planning to use these XO with Ian's dual XO board.
About the crystals, the price for 45/49 MHz AT-cut type is Eur 27,00 each.
For the same frequencies but SC-cut type, the price has not yet defined, I can estimate around Eur 38-39 each.
SC-cut type have higher Q, but they need an oven to work at costant high temperature.
I'm trying to develope a suitable oven for these crystals.
Anyway, to place an order, for each frequency we have to reach the MOQ requested from Laptech: 10 pcs for 45/49 MHz.

This is to thank you publicly for all your fantastic efforts in developing the well tempered clock, I´ve just have had the chance to go through all of the documentation and it seems great to me as well.

Hope Phil will receive the boards soon and can starts the assembly early. On this regard I sent an email to you (Andrea) to clarify somethings about the assembly options. I look forward to your comments.

best regards
Pepe

Just out of curiosity Andrea, I have seen your name in the last list for crystals. What type of project do you have in mind for 11.2896 MHz ??

cheers
Pepe

SInce I would develop two more oscillator circuits, the Butler 2 emitters and the Driscoll, I need to get all the SC-cut crystals (at least one for each frequency), to test them in the circuit, as well as to define the right value for the components.

If I'll ever find a little free time for my own projects, I'm thinking to the 11.2896 MHz SC-cut to feed directly a TDA1541A, syncing back the source (maybe Ian's FIFO board).
