QUASI Amplifier for Beginners

Sorry for bad explanation

The Heatsink should be like the picture. The PCB will be mounted on the backplate of it and the heatsink will be mounted in the enclosure vertical like your intentions.

"for 6pair outputs what are the changes to make with 80vdc? "

Change BC546 to 2N5550
Change MJE15030/31 to 32/33
Change 2N3773 to MJ15024
The 22K that feeds the diode pair needs to be 5W, it can be 3W on ±65V
The 22K feedback resistor needs to be 1/2W, it can be 1/4W on ±65V

Hi Andrew T is this amplifier is not good for bass or low frequency. when i read some viewer
replay i think that is it not HI FI amplifier if that is true i am disappointed

have you seen the title of this thread? "QUASI Amplifier for Beginners" ,what does it tell you? For hi-fi try nx14,sr50-100-200 or say f100 . I have found a lot in nx14,it is one of my top 3 amplifiers that i have built and heard.
