Pictures of your diy Pass amplifier

My last post on ASCII;)

...makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about my old friend. Had many of the symbols right there on the front of the keys. May have to make a trip to the storage shed.:D

Back on topic.
I've just completely finished my ACA. The front panel is rippled sycamore and the chassis is a vent intended for for use in car engine intake.

Big thanks to 6L6 who patiently answered my questions whilst I found out I was shorting at the power connector (3 laptop bricks dead).

Next project is a B1 and ODAC.

Apologies for crap pictures , I've only got a phone.

for any other beginners it's worth bearing in mind that desoldering is a damn site harder than soldering so make sure you cut the wires to the correct length first time. I just soldered them on quickly so I could get it turned on and hear the music but it meant my tidy joints soon ended up like balls of dung when I finally put it all together at the end.

Well then... here it is at last - my version of F6.
Just as a sidenote - because someone wondered: there were no CNC or other stuff like that involved in the making. Just hand held (power) tools like with most of you guys. That's drilling, thread tapping, painting, cutting, filing, sanding etc. Also there went quite some time thinking about different design aspects and possibilities.

The top cover with its blue mesh triangles I like, but the face plate may not be quite there yet... we'll see. :p
