The latest integrated amp...
I'm just waiting for the nixie in the mail to plug that hole
It has phono plus 3 inputs, a 10Hz 4th order HF filter, 6E2 meters, an OTL headphone amp good down to 32R that doubles as the line stage, and a triode strapped output stage good for about 50W.
Power supply is in a separate chassis (obviously).
I decidedly like the aerial shot
The hardest thing about building this entire thing was soldering the shield wire on that damned RG6! (No I wouldn't have used it if I had ANYTHING thinner at all). I had to use my old school quartz 60W pencil iron. I must build a spot welder

Thanks... After a few teething pains it's up and running now.

Wow - that is amazing!! 27 valves! How many watts go to the heaters?

If everything is on (phono stage only lights up when you're set to phono, power stage is switchable, too so this can be used as a preamp for my other amps) it's ~100W for the heaters.

Brook12A clones. 2A3 in push-pull. Sounds great with Altecs.
Nice!
...new amp ... four CV4043 (6BW6) per channel, ECF80 in drive/phase splitter... Lundahls output... wanted to try the wood/epoxy combo, looks a bit turtle-ish but I like it... runs pretty hot though.... me happy
