This version. I don't have enough woofers for the complicated version. Got the base made: 2-3/4" pieces of ply glued and screwed. Also have the 4 odd shaped pieces made that support the woofer plate. Wings are marked out, not cut yet. I need 2 more pieces of wood for the baffle. This may end up with 4 woofers in the end. My wife will appreciate the smaller foofprint.
It's obvious that the Fr drivers are not sensitive to baffle size because I don't think I gave up anything in the upper registers. Bass seem full. Different but full. I'm on my 1st album and need to give this more listening time. My wife will appreciate smaller footprint.

Coming along. Need more wood. Still have 10 fingers.
Pretty sure Nelson sure was saying slot is sealed at rear but the baffle is open at the back.
Cross it lower.
You don't want 250Hz coming out of the slot.
80Hz Low pass 160Hz high pass seems to work quite well.
The gap in crossover frequency might seem strange but it seems to work.
Nelson explained the reasoning why it works is because of the rising response of most full range drivers.

AN 10 Classic. It's what I had on hand. Down the road a Lowther if I can figure out which one. Crossed @ 250Hz.
Nothing wrong with Audio Nirvana. I would buy an Alnico Audio Nirvana driver before buying Lowther.
